Oyashop Goes to Westminster: Presenting at the House of Lords

Last 4th September 2026, MIS Tech had the honor of presenting Oyashop at the House of Lords in London, at an event organized by EazyA that brought together entrepreneurs, policymakers, and technology leaders.

What is Oyashop?

What we presented

We walked the room through the problem Oyashop solves, the traction so far, and our plans for UK expansion. The questions from the floor focused on [e.g., payments, trust, and cross-border trade], which told us we're building for a real need.

Why this matters

Being invited into a space like the House of Lords is a signal that African-built technology belongs in global conversations. For our team across Birmingham and Abuja, it's a proud moment and a reminder of the standard we hold ourselves to.
